Christmas Market

The traditional Christmas Market in Blue City is a forerunner of the approaching Christmas and an opportunity to do some Christmas shopping. At the Fair, you will find a lot of delicacies and specialties that cannot be found anywhere else. It will be possible to taste, buy or order regional specialties: fish, fish pâté, pâté from Podlasie, dumplings, “uszka” (Polish ravioli) borscht, bigos (a traditional Polish dish made of cabbage), home-made pork, beef, goose and duck sausages. The market stalls will also offer goat cheese, Korycin cheese, highland cheese, alpine cheese, butter and cream. There will also be sourdough bread and home-made cakes. As every month, beekeepers will be among the exhibitors, offering honey from their home apiaries.

All the products on offer come from such regions of Poland as Pomerania, Podlasie, Warmia, Mazury and Roztocze. At the Blue City fair, the following producers have had their stalls for years: Family farm Gremza from Korycin, Organic farm Sabina i Mieczysław Mąka, Wójcizna Shepherd’s Hut, the Bartlowizna company, Swojskie Jadło from Podlasie and Zagroda Roztocze. Foreign products such as sweets, teas and other foodstuffs will be offered by exhibitors from Hungary, Azerbaijan and Greece.

In addition to the food offer, the fair will feature domestic producers with an offer of Christmas decorations and ornaments.
