During the fair which this month will take place from the 13th to the 16th of March (Wednesday to Saturday) producers from various regions of the country will be presenting their produce. Visitors will be able to not only shop, but also take part in tastings organised by the exhibitors. What will be on offer? Honey, cakes, cold meats, hams, fish, fish pates, products from geese, Bilgoraj dumplings, cheeses from Podlasia and the Tatra Mountains, goats’ cheeses, sour-dough bread and many other natural tasty things. For lovers of home cooking you’ll be able to stock up on dumplings, potato pancakes and lard.
Participants in the March fair will also have the opportunity to get to know traditional Hungarian cuisine. During culinary demonstrations experts will introduce Hungarian dishes and show how to make goulash, letcho and langos cake. On Friday and Saturday (15th, 16 March) from 16.00 to 20.00 these demonstrations will also be accompanied by a Hungarian Csardas cappella.
