Late October is the perfect time to indulge in something delicious, especially with Halloween and Poland’s traditional St Andrew’s celebrations just around the corner! For four days, the fair will be filled with high-quality regional produce, ready-to-eat specialties, sweet treats and drinks. It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on favorites and add some extra flavor to your autumn gatherings.
Look out for traditional cured meats, artisan cheeses, oscypek smoked sheep’s cheese, fish, homemade lard, crunchy pickled cucumbers and freshly baked bread. Hungarian salami and paprika specialties will warm up chilly autumn days, while olives, halva and delicacies from Azerbaijan make perfect snacks for sharing.
Those with a sweet tooth can choose from cakes and dried fruit, while a mug of hot tea with honey is just the thing for a cool autumn evening. And for the grown-ups, there will also be a selection of French wines – perhaps the perfect accompaniment to a little St Andrew’s fortune-telling!
Come along and enjoy the flavors of autumn!
